Take your driving skills to the next level with one of our fast and furious, high-performing RS1 Race Cars. Experience action packed track days on the road course or oval track—the same cars that regularly compete in the Avion Cup Series! Professional drivers often hit speeds up to 160 mph (255 km/h) thanks to these lightweight vehicles for ultimate performance superiority.
With 12-inch racing slick tires, you'll leave the supercars way behind as lap times have been recorded in the 2:07's around the Area 27 circuit. Get ready for a nonstop thrill ride!
The RS1's are available for rent to qualified individuals to run in the scheduled race events for the RS1 Challenge or Cup series.
Legend Rentals
Legends Car Racing is a style of auto racing designed primarily to promote exciting racing and to keep costs down. The race car bodyshells are 5/8-scale replicas of American automobiles from the 1930s and 1940s, powered by Yamaha XJ1250, FJ1200 (both air-cooled) or, starting in 2018, FZ09 (water-cooled) engines. Penticton Speedway follows the worldwide sanctioning body for legends car racing which is INEX.
Legends cars are a "spec" series, meaning all cars are mechanically identical, except for three styles of car (standard coupe, '34 coupe, and sedan) available with 10 types of body styles. New cars are currently offered with seven body styles; however, many used cars exist with the "older" styles.
Our Legend Race Cars are utilized extensively for Corporate, Private and Public Track days at Penticton Speedway and are also available for rent to qualified individuals to run in actual scheduled race events at Penticton Speedway.
Camaro Rentals
Avion Motorsports is the leading provider of potent performance vehicles! Our mighty fleet includes 450 HP Gen 5 Camaro SS's, readily available for Corporate, Private or Grassroots track days at Area 27. Track-day enthusiasts can experience our single car rental program - perhaps you'd like to bring a friend and they don't have an appropriate vehicle? Or maybe you simply don’t want them in yours? Avion motorsports also caters our Camaro fleet to Rocky Mountain Motorsport patrons as well.
Hornet Rentals
Hornet Car Racing is an entry level, asphalt oval, style of auto racing designed primarily to promote exciting racing and to keep costs down. Many drivers in the Hornet class have several years under their belt and choose to stay in the class to race at a very economic level. This class has all levels of drivers from beginner to expert.
Cars in this class are front wheel drive and generally run an earlier model Acura Integra or a similar production car from a competing brand. The cars were once someone’s daily driver but now have been gutted, roll cage installed, minimal performance enhancements completed.
Our Hornet Race Cars are utilized extensively for Corporate, Private and Public Track days at Penticton Speedway and are also available for rent to qualified individuals to run in actual scheduled race events at Penticton Speedway. New to the sport? That’s easy, we can set up private training to get you to a comfortable level to enter your first race – be careful though, it’s addicting!
